As equestrians, we all know riding is only fun when your horse is also having fun...

Joint and myofascial restrictions caused by high impact or repetitive activities, an unbalanced rider, ill-fitting tack, or acute/chronic injury can keep them from feeling and performing their best. Sometimes they are able to let us know, but other times the signs are subtle. That is why it is important to look at the horse as a whole to determine the root cause of any discomfort.

During your horse's initial visit, you can expect Dr. Hayley to take a thorough history, perform a full body chiropractic exam, observe gait, and tack fit if indicated. Once your horse is deemed a good candidate for chiropractic care, adjustments and soft tissue therapy will be performed where necessary.

By combining specific chiropractic adjustments, myofascial techniques, and stretches, Dr. Hayley is able to provide high quality care specifically tailored to the unique needs of each horse.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)-

Use of soft tissue instruments to break up scar tissue and myofascial adhesions to restore proper tissue movement and increase blood flow.

Kinesio Taping-

A rehabilitative taping technique that can facilitate blood flow, lymphatic flow, postural awareness, and distribution of forces on tissues and joints.
